(Due to security issues, and a lack of time, this project is on hold.)
I collect live shows, and I would like to share some of this music that has so generously been shared with me. I do not know the official stance of Liz as far as trading goes, but I do know that during one show, when asked, she stated that there should be some kind of "history." So with that in mind, in the future, I will serving up live shows.
In the spirit of etree.org and People for a Clearer Phish, the shows will be hosted in "lossless" formats only--either .shn or .flac. You can visit etree.org for all kinds of information regarding both of these formats. The FTP details will be posted here once I have them. Keep in mind, that this will be music unavailable commercially!

mp3 sourced shows suck. I know, it's hard to tell the difference these days, but live audience recordings are not always the highest quality to begin with (not necessarily the fault of the taper). In an effort to keep these shows at the highest possible quality, please don't ever convert mp3s to an audio CD. What happens then, is someone eventually makes a copy of this reduced quality CD, and passes it on. Then someone else creates more mp3s, reducing the quality more, and so the process continues. We may as well be trading tapes. I know mp3s are easier, and faster, but these shows happen once in a lifetime. If a copy is made, we need to do our best to preserve it. Please, take the time to learn about, and trade in lossless formats. flac and shn are the preferred formats. You can learn more at Etree. Thank you.
